The Chargers have become Philip Rivers’ team, but this may be a game where Tomlinson needs to find his old form. On a potentially slippery and muddy field, and with the Browns likely to sell out to stop the aerial attack, San Diego may turn to Tomlinson and its ground game.
The Chargers have won six of the last seven, and have a 13-7-1 overall series lead.
LaDainian Tomlinson rushed for 172 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Chargers past the Browns, 32-25, on Nov. 5, 20.
Quinn has not lived up to his first-round draft status thus far in his career, but a great finish to this season could help solidify his future in Cleveland. That could start with an inspiring performance against the Chargers, in which he wills his team to victory with both his play and his leadership.
