With Freeman still learning the ropes under center, it would behoove the Bucs to establish a consistent ground game, but they have just not been able to do so. Neither Cadillac Williams nor Derrick Ward has made much of an impact, and it gets no easier against Seattle’s 11th-ranked run defense.
While the Seahawks have been one of the league’s worst teams on the road, they have been surprisingly effective at home. They are 4-2 in front of their fans, and have outscored their opponents by 54 points in those games.
Bucs rookie QB Josh Freeman had his worst game as a pro in a 26-3 loss to the Jets. … The Seahawks were not even competitive in a 34-7 loss at Houston.
