Chris Johnson is closing in on NFL Network’s own Marshall Faulk’s single-season record for yards from scrimmage. All he needs is 75 yards to surpass Faulk’s mark of 2,429, and he should have a great chance to do so against a Seahawks defense (ranked 25th overall) in the midst of a freefall.
The Seahawks’ veteran quarterback is enduring the worst season of his career, and has played especially poorly over the last couple weeks. While he may not be the longterm answer in Seattle at this point, if he hopes to have any chance at starting somewhere next year, he would be well served to leave a positive final impression.
Last week, Young suffered through one of the worst games of his career against the Chargers. Having a similar poor outing vs. the Seahawks would be a bad way to close out a year that saw Young make several strides and seize the starting quarterback job.
Matt Hasselbeck passed for 285 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Seahawks past the Titans, 28-24, in Week 15 of the 2005 season. Goal’s highlights, results and more will be on site, as soon as posible.. don’t miss it.
