Dallas’ offense fizzled in Green Bay during a 17-7 loss. … Washington snapped a four-game losing skid with a 27-17 victory over the Broncos.
Entering the season, Dallas pledged to rely more heavily on its rushing attack after getting pass happy at times last year. The Cowboys had been doing a decent job of maintaining offensive balance until last week’s loss to the Packers, in which they called 44 passing plays to only 14 runs. Look for the Cowboys to keep it on the ground more often against a Redskins team that has the league’s top-rated pass defense.
After a slow start, Ware has really picked up his game in recent weeks. He didn’t tally a sack in his first four outings, but has seven in his last five contests. He will look to feast on Washington, which has allowed the league’s third-most sacks .
