The Jets have been maddeningly inconsistent this season, but Jones remains the one constant. The veteran running back just continues to go about his business and put up big numbers. He is fourth in the NFL with 1,167 rushing yards and tied for third with 11 rushing touchdowns.
Warrick Dunn rushed for 155 yards to help the Falcons knock off the Jets, 27-14, in Week 7 of the 2005 season.
Atlanta’s coach is not afraid to show his emotions during games. He was fined earlier this season for getting involved in a fracas with Washington’s DeAngelo Hall, and he grew so angry in last week’s loss to New Orleans he smashed his headset to the ground, breaking it. His fiery temperament has not seemed to make much difference in his team’s performance, however.
