Denver Broncos Vs Washington Redskins

Arena: FedEx Field
Time: Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 1:00 PM
League: NFL – United States of America
The Broncos have won three of the past four meetings and have a 6-5 overall series advantage, including the playoffs.
With Clinton Portis likely out this week due to a concussion, Ladell Betts steps in as a starter. He performed well in his last stint as a starter during the 2006 season and the Redskins will likely lean heavily on him against a Broncos defense that was just gashed by Pittsburgh for 173 rushing yards.
Dumervil is tied for the league lead with 10.5 sacks and he has yet to face a team that has given up as many sacks as the Redskins (28). Levi Jones, picked up as a free agent just three weeks ago, will get the start at left tackle for Washington. Look for Dumervil to try and make quick work of the Bengals castoff.
Kyle Orton threw three interceptions as the Broncos lost 28-10 to the Steelers. … The Redskins were victimized by Michael Turner’s 166 rushing yards and two touchdowns in a 31-17 loss to the Falcons. Highlights, live score and results will be available soon.. stay tuned.
